Introduction
IETA is seeking proposals from technologists, educators, subject-matter experts, consultants, and corporate partners to present at the annual IETA Conference. We welcome proposals from a broad range of presenters with useful knowledge, experience, or insights to share with Idaho's educational technology community.
Who Should Submit
Technologists, educators, subject-matter experts, consultants, corporate partners, and other professionals with useful knowledge or experience to share are encouraged to submit. You do not need to be an IETA member to submit a proposal.
Anticipated Audience
IETA strives to deliver pertinent, innovative, and informative content to Idaho educational leaders, including technology directors, technology staff, district and school administrators, and teachers. Presentations should be informative and targeted to the anticipated audience or an appropriate subgroup.
Content We Are Seeking
IETA is looking for a wide variety of content to serve technologists, educators, and educational leaders. Presenters are encouraged to share information, ideas, best practices, successful strategies, and valuable experiences. Proposals may address any topic relevant to education technology, including classroom technology, cybersecurity, AI, digital learning, infrastructure, leadership, and more.
What Makes a Strong Proposal
Strong proposals clearly describe the learning objectives and key takeaways for attendees. They identify the target audience, the experience level, and how the content will be delivered. Proposals that demonstrate practical applicability, broad interest, and relevance to the anticipated attendees are more likely to be selected.
Review Process
Submissions will be reviewed by the IETA Conference Committee. The committee will select proposals that provide a broad range of topics and useful content for the audiences expected to attend. Selected presenters will be notified after the review process is complete. All submitters will receive a response regardless of the outcome.
Expected notification date: December 31, 2026
Presenter Benefits
Selected presenters receive the presenter benefits configured for this Conference. Please see the current presenter policy for registration and participation details.
Presenter Expectations
Selected presenters are expected to confirm participation by the confirmation deadline, attend and deliver their session at the scheduled time, and follow the IETA Code of Conduct. If materials are required, presenters are expected to submit them by the materials deadline.
